Calling all Daisies!
Get ready to move, explore, and discover at Children’s Discovery Museum during our special Girl Scout Badge Days. Choose your adventure from three exciting badges: in Fun with Movement, Daisies will jump, dance, and stretch their way through big and small movements while learning how their amazing bodies help them play and create; in Shapes in Nature, budding scientists will search the Museum and grounds for circles, triangles, and patterns hiding in plants, rocks, and more; and in Design with Nature, Daisies will put on their math hats to plan, measure, and build with the natural world around them. Each badge day is packed with hands-on fun, teamwork, and outdoor curiosity – the perfect way for our youngest Girl Scouts to earn a badge while exploring everything the Museum has to offer. Pick the topic that sparks your Daisy’s curiosity and register below!
Badge programs require reservations. Purchase tickets by clicking the link of your desired program below. Badge programs have a maximum capacity of 32 Girl Scouts. If fewer than 10 girls have registered two weeks in advance, the program will be deferred and you can reschedule to another program or request a refund.
Check-in information: Please arrive 30 minutes before the start time of your program to check in and help us ensure labs begin on time.
Chaperone information: When you bring your Girl Scout to a badge program at Children’s Discovery Museum, you can purchase yourself a ticket for $22. Tickets for chaperones can be purchased at the same time that the Girl Scout is registered using the links below.
Museum Members: Girl Scout Chaperone Parents who are Children’s Discovery Museum members can choose the free member no cost option and must show their membership card at the day of the event. Please note that Girl Scout program fees are only waived for the Adults and siblings who are museum members on the same active membership at the time of entry.
Cancellation Policy: Refunds will not be issued. Tickets will be rescheduled for a future Badge program.
Fun with Movement
Ready, set, GROOVE! This badge turns the entire museum into your personal dance floor. You’ll test your body’s limits with giant leaps, tiny tiptoes, and silly shakes as you explore our space. When you’ve earned this badge, you’ll know your favorite ways to stay active, energized, and moving. Let’s see those moves!

Shapes in Nature
Unlocking nature’s shapes! This badge challenges you to become a pattern hunter in the wild! Look closer than ever before. You’ll discover the amazing shapes, stripes, and spirals that nature uses every day, and then use your own creativity to mirror those designs and build a pattern masterpiece of your own!

Design with Nature
Put on your explorer hat and grab your magnifying glass! This badge is a hands-on adventure where the wilderness is your museum. When you’ve earned this badge, you’ll know how to identify, sort, and create using nature-inspired things!
